Sarah Meinel, Legal Assistant

Sarah Riley Howard

Sarah Meinel’s passion for righting social inequities, her interest in public policy, and her commitment to public service make her a perfect fit for PSFK Law. Before a mid-career decision to study law, Sarah was a powerful advocate for domestic violence survivors for more than a decade—building a state-recognized housing program to shelter women in transition and mentoring her staff into positions of leadership. Creative, sharp, empathetic and a skilled listener, Sarah brings acute understanding of the challenges clients face and a driving interest in ensuring those who are marginalized have a voice in the system. Sometimes people mistake her quiet, analytical nature for shyness, but in fact, she’s frequently deep in thought. Feel free to ask her what she’s thinking; it’s bound to be interesting and she’ll be happy to tell you. When she’s not working to right societal wrongs, Sarah is likely to be amidst friends, family, and good food.
